IDP/CIDP - Program

The NCARB Intern Development Program and the California Comprehensive Intern Development Program is required for California architectural licensing. NCARB’s IDP is the nationally recognized training program for architectural interns administered and maintained by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). CIDP is the evidence-based overlay required by the California Architects Board (CAB) that is completed simultaneously with the IDP requirement. To assist interns in understanding the requirements of IDP/CIDP, BFGC-IBI Group Architecture Planning is committed to providing information and resources for licensing intern’s use. As part of our core value of Continuous Improvement, BFGC-IBI Group Architecture Planning promotes and fosters professional growth by providing opportunities for the intern to acquire knowledge, skills, and experience in the IDP Core Competencies areas.
