Gardner Elementary
Description
Like "the Phoenix" Gardner Elementary School grew from the ashes of a previous school building. The slab and foundation of a fire damaged facility were re-used along with decorative concrete wall panels from the original school. The new 31,000 sq. ft. twelve classroom elementary school is housed in one building. The classrooms and support facilities are clustered around a central media center. A District-wide Resource Training Center is located on the second floor with state-of-the-art technology and video systems for classroom observation and distance learning.
