Description
An urban elementary school, Horace Mann School was the first new school for San Jose Unified School District in 25 years. Utilizing a collaborative process, the team quickly saw the importance of using the physical form of the project to encourage and maintain the urban relationship between the school and its environment, while maximizing minimal space to help meet sustainability goals. Project completed in association with MRY, Santa Monica.
