La Entrada Middle School

A new 10,900 S.F. gymnasium building is located on the La Entrada School campus, in Menlo Park, California. The gymnasium includes a high school size basketball court which can also be used as two smaller basketball courts, volleyball, badminton or paddle ball. The gymnasium incorporates 450 seat-bleachers, automatic room divider, and fold down basketball standards. The lobby was designed to be used for rainy day use and houses two large trophy cases. There are three coaches offices with direct access to the fitness/teaching room. The building includes two groups of toilet facilities, one serving the interior spaces and a more durable pair of toilets which are to be open to the public during the weekends. The overall plan includes relocation of the city's tennis courts, additional parking, new plaza and renovation of planting and landscaping at the front of the school
