Sunnybrae Elementary Modernization

Instead of expending limited funds to renovate and seismically upgrade old and inadequate buildings, the District along with BFGC-IBI Group developed a plan that allowed the District to receive State funding to tear down and rebuild a new school on an existing campus. Sunnybrae now has a two-story classroom and administrative office building, a library/media center, and two single story modular classrooms wings to meet their needs. Only modernization of the existing Large Group Instruction building remained. The two-story building allowed additional area on site to create a much needed drop off and parking lot off a very busy street front.
